Just found the oblong pan and the loaf pan in butterfly gold on Esty today. Now I just have to try and find the 8" square in butterfly gold to basically complete this set. The only thing I'll be missing are the glasses/pitchers. I am so happy!
Took and bought this beauty off eBay last night! I can't wait to get it, will look awesome in my collection.
This is the COSMOPOLITAN with warmer. Got it for $27, and I also bought a second casserole in the same pattern. Also bought this beautiful 9x13 baking pan in a nice blue colour!

I am also bidding on a really cool piece in the Early American that I am thinking was a promotional piece or is rare as I can't find it anywhere. It is a 4qt oblong casserole which is 14" X 11 1/4"  X 4 " with a clear glass lid.

Here are a couple of my most recent eBay purchases.... I won a very nice, never or very little use pink fridgie set. I paid way too much for it, but had to have it. Also won 4 yellow 10oz #700 casseroles. I think these will go good with my butterfly gold collection! Also bought both sizes of Brittany Blue Tart dish and the matching bowl's for them, a pink and lime green 8oz casserole with lids, some black with white snow flake items and some pink and some green items! Been a good week!

So had some luck on Kijiji today! Got a 4 bowl set of Colonial Mist, a small cinderella in the same pattern, a opal divided dish, juice pitcher, pink & lime green pie plate, pink cake pan, & the brown bake ware set. I got all of this for $100, which is pretty good for out here. I've attached some pics! There is a guy just a few blocks south of where I work that has a bunch of stuff for sale.

He also has a Embroidery & Dandelion Duet with candle warmers listed. I offered him $60 for both but said they are his favorite and doesn't really want to sell them. Oh well, I'll keep looking....

Stupid eBay!!! They have decided to up the shipping charges while I am bidding on stuff. On 2 items, my shipping charge went from being $42 to $52!!! I was smart and took a screen shot of the charges before they changed and have been confirming the actual charges with the sellers, and telling them that I ain't paying the increase. I'll let everyone know what there replies are. Stupid eBay!
So I have decided on about 5 patterns that I am going to try and focus on, but will buy almost any pattern that I find if it is a good price!  The patterns I am working on are: Brittany Blue (only need the 2 mixing bowls!), Butterfly Gold, the Black with white snowflakes, Lime Green, and probably any of the pink/pink daisy/etc. items. I do have 1 complete set, Forest Fancies. I've got both sets of casseroles and both styles of mixing bowls!

I can't wait until May when I am in my own place and can get everything out of the boxes, take some pictures, get it on display and use it! I am trying to get away from the metal pans and stick with the Pyrex. As some of my stuff comes in the mail I'll try and post up some pictures. Shouldn't be too long hopefully.

Going to the flea market today in Edmonton to hopefully find some items that I need/don't have yet for reasonable prices! Didn't find anything at our flea market. Oh well, I'll keep looking around.

So while browsing at a couple of local Value Village I came across these awesome cake pans. I know they aren't Pyrex, but just had to have them and they were only a couple bucks each.  Didn't find any pyrex though at either location, but there is still 2 more locations in the city I can check.

My Corelle/Pyrex collection

Hello all, this is my first blog post ever! I'm going to start this off with what I have recently started collecting....

So I have started collecting Pyrex/Corelle vintage ware. Right now I am working on the Butterfly Gold pattern and I would say am 80-90% complete. I have enough plates/bowls/cups for an 8 person setting. I have also got almost all of the Pyrex compatibles in this pattern with only about 6-8 items I still need to get to have the complete set. Once I am done with this one I am probably going to start on the Spring Blossom/Crazy Daisy pattern.

The one thing I am having a problem with is finding some of this stuff. I seem to be getting 99% of my collection off of eBay, which is fine except for the cost of shipping. The shipping adds a minimum of $30 on per order. So far I have spent approx $950 before shipping to get my collection to where it is. And just so you know, yes I am crazy! It would have been nice to have everything for like under $300 instead. If anyone has any ideas where I can find this stuff in Edmonton please let me know. I think I am going to try the flea market in the next couple of weeks to see if anyone there has any for sale.

Once I get my own place in May I am going to take some pictures of my entire collection to post. Some of the items I am still looking for are the loaf pan, 8x8 white, 9x13 gold baking pans; the 470&480 original design sets which have the gold, white, gold; the 2-qt. round bottom casserole #024; the new design 440 series Cinderella bowls; the different type of glass tumblers; the glass pitches. I was already looking on eBay and it seems that I should have started with the spring blossom pattern as there is almost everything for sale unlike this pattern.

K, well I am going to leave it at that for now. If you have any comments feel free to leave them!
